SL: "I don't know why I decided to do an EP, but I think I was short on songs. I was keeping myself busy in 2007 by spitting out as much as I could, in lieu of playing actual shows. However, I did play an acoustic show in North Carolina in June of 2007, which was recorded. I remember, a lot of people LOVED 'Punk Rock Girl.' 'High School Heartthrob' was a bit of a stretch, it's kinda weird to me today. 'Avenue B.' was actually a reference to the musical, 'RENT,' which i'd become obsessed with at the time, and it has a sort of proto-punk vibe to it that I don't think I ever touched on again."
